Our certified volunteers provide first aid to visitors and participants, from sports competitions to festivals. In principle, we can work anywhere, preferably in Roosendaal and the surrounding region. Well prepared, visible on site and clear in their communication.

EHBO Roosendaal SACE brings together certified volunteers who care for people in need of help. At events, from sports competitions and festivals to parades and community activities, we provide first aid for visitors and participants. From Roosendaal, we combine personal dedication with teamwork and good preparation.
Behind every deployment are people who give their time and knowledge to help others. Our team includes first-aiders, coordinators and volunteers in communication and support roles. Sem Goossens is our founder and chair and is responsible for overall coordination. From the first-aid post and mobile patrols to equipment and reporting, everyone contributes through their own role. Clear agreements help us keep teamwork on site organized.
Meet our teamDedication, teamwork and clear agreements are central to our organization. We value calm, clear communication and care for the people who need help. Each deployment starts with preparation: we discuss the venue, programme, expected audience and contact people. At events, our first-aiders are visible and approachable. We keep direct lines of communication within our team and with organizers and security staff. When incidents occur, we focus on careful assessment and handover.
How we workWe are connected to Roosendaal and the surrounding towns and villages. Our team attends events in places including Wouw, Bergen op Zoom and Kruisland. We support regional events such as Roosendaal on Ice, Wouw Live and BergenOpZoomNL. We also work with other first-aid teams and independent first-aid professionals in the region. This collaboration with volunteers, responders and organizers is an important part of who we are.
Contact usNew clients pay €17.50 per hour per first aider; existing clients keep their agreed rate. Staffing and any surcharges are specified in your quote in advance.
SACE has been active for more than three years and has been registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce since 2026. Our independently deployed first aiders hold at least a basic first-aid diploma with first aid for children (EHAK) and resuscitation. We refresh this knowledge and these skills every year.
